1 tn Heb “you brought us into a net.” This rare word for “net” also occurs in Ezek 12:13; 13:21; 17:20.

2 tn Heb “you placed suffering on our hips.” The noun מוּעָקָה (muaqah, “suffering”) occurs only here in the OT.

3 tn Heb “He”; the referent (David, God’s chosen king, mentioned in v. 70) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

4 tn Heb “and he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart.”
