• [Psa 55:23] Jesus, I Will Trust Thee

  Jesus, I will trust Thee, trust Thee with my soul; Guilty, lost, and helpless, Thou canst make me whole. There is none in Heaven or on earth like Thee: Thou hast died for sinners—therefore Lord for me. Refrain In Thy love confiding I will seek Thy face, Worship and adore Thee, for Thy wondrous grace. Jesus, I will trust Thee, trust Thee with my soul; Guilty, lost and helpless, Thou canst make me whole. Jesus, I can trust Thee, trust Thy written Word, Since Thy voice of mercy I have often heard, When Thy Spirit teacheth, to my taste how sweet— Only may I hearken, sitting at Thy feet.   Lord Jesus, Thou dost keep Thy child Through sunshine or through tempests wild; Jesus, I trust in Thee: Thine is such wondrous pow’r to save; Thine is the mighty love that gave Its all on Calvary. O glorious Savior, Thee I praise; To Thee my new glad song I raise, And tell of what Thou art. Thy grace is boundless in its store; Thy face of love shines evermore, Thou givest me Thy heart. Upon Thy promises I stand, Trusting in Thee: Thine own right hand Doth keep and comfort me; My soul doth triumph in Thy Word; Thine, Thine be all the praise, dear Lord, As Thine the victory. • [Psa 138:2] To Thy Temple Holy

  To Thy temple holy, come we now with praise; Thou, the meek and lowly, guide us to Thy ways; To Thy courts ascending, though unworthy we; Let our worship, blending, swell Thy harmony. Not with ostentation, not with proud acclaim, Come we, Lord and Master, to extol Thy Name; But with Christly spirit, humble and sincere, Pleading but Thy merit, we Thy Name revere. For Thy Holy Spirit earnestly we plead, Visit us, bestowing grace for all our need, Sanctify our worship to Thy glory, Lord; Grant us spirits eager to receive Thy Word. To Thy temple holy, come we now with praise; Thou, the meek and lowly, guide us to Thy ways; So shall we, renewing every solemn vow, Live for larger service if Thou bless us now.
