• [Psa 34:8] How You Will Love Him!

  Ye who wander, of sin grown weary, Lonely and far from the safe home-fold, Come and learn what the love of Christ is, Love whose gladness can ne’er be told. Refrain O, how you’ll love Him when you know Him! Know the Christ Who died to set you free; On Calv’ry’s cross His heart was broken, Broken there for you, for me! Come, and coming, find peace and pardon Waiting for you at the place of prayer; Kneel and ask for a soul forgiven, Christ is yearning to meet you there. Refrain You should know of this love so tender, Love that is steadfast, and deep, and true; Come and share in its sweetness with me, Come, and find that my Christ loves you. Refrain Come, and find that you cannot fathom Love like Christ’s till you taste and see; Height and depths of the love of Jesus No man knows till it sets Him free. Refrain

  Come, children, learn to fear the Lord And that your days be long, Let not a false or spiteful word Be found upon your tongue. Depart from mischief, practice love, Pursue the works of peace; So shall the Lord your ways approve, And set your souls at ease. His eyes awake to guard the just, His ears attend their cry; When broken spirits dwell in dust, The God of grace is nigh. What though the sorrows here they taste Are sharp and tedious too, The Lord, who saves them all at last, Is their supporter now. Evil shall smite the wicked dead; But God secures His own, Prevents the mischief when they slide, Or heals the broken bone. When desolation, like a flood, O’er the proud sinner rolls, Saints find a refuge in their God, For He redeemed their souls.

• [Psa 34:11] Ye Children, Come, Give Ear To Me

  Ye children, come, give ear to me And learn Jehovah’s fear, He who would long and happy live, Let him my counsel hear. Restrain thy lips from speaking guile, From wicked speech depart, From evil turn and do the good, Seek peace with all thy heart. Jehovah’s eyes are on the just, He hearkens to their cry; Against the wicked sets His face; Their very name shall die. He hears the righteous when they cry, From trouble sets them free; He saves the broken hearted ones And those who contrite be. The Lord may suffer many griefs Upon the just to fall, But He will bring them safely through; Delivering them from all. By evil are the evil slain, And they that hate the just; But all His servants God redeems, And safe in Him they trust.
