Psalms 5:3
-
[Psa 5:3] Another Day Begun!
Another day begun!
Lord, grant us grace that we,
Before the setting of the sun,
Redeem the time for Thee.Another day of toil!
To Thee we yield our powers;
Keep Thou our souls from guilty soil
Through all the passing hours.Another day of fear!
For watchful is our foe,
And sin is strong, and death is near,
And short our time below.Another day of hope!
For Thou art with us still,
And Thine almighty strength can cope
With all who seek our ill.Another day of grace
To help us on our way!
One step towards the resting-place,
The eternal Sabbath-day.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] As The Sun Doth Daily Rise
As the sun doth daily rise,
Brightening all the morning skies,
So to Thee with one accord
Lift we up our hearts, O Lord.Day by day provide us food,
For from Thee come all things good;
Strength unto our souls afford
From Thy living bread, O Lord.Be our guard in sin and strife;
Be the leader of our life;
Lest from Thee we stray abroad,
Stay our wayward feet, O Lord.Quickened by the Spirit’s grace
All Thy holy will to trace
While we daily search Thy Word,
Wisdom true impart, O Lord.Praise we, with the heavenly host,
Father, Son and Holy Ghost;
Thee would we with one accord
Praise and magnify, O Lord.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] Father, We Thank Thee
Father, we thank Thee for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light;
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the world so fair.Help us to do the things we should,
To be to others kind and good;
In all we do, in work or play,
To love Thee better day by day.source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] I With Thee Would Begin
I with Thee would begin, O my Savior so dear,
On the way that I still must pursue;
I with Thee would begin every day granted here,
As my earnest resolve I renew
To be and remain Thine forever.I with Thee would begin and go forth in Thy Name,
Which alone doth salvation bestow;
Fold me close to Thy breast where found joy all who came,
There is refuge for me, too, I know,
Though all in this world is confusion.Let Thy Word all divine be my lamp in whose light
I may constantly keep to Thy way;
And each day wouldst Thou cleanse me anew, make me white
In the blood shed for me on that day
The cross Thou didst suffer, Lord Jesus.I with Thee would begin—yea, and hear one more prayer,
I would close with Thee, too, my brief day,
And when daylight has failed, let me sleep in Thy care,
Until waking Thy child Thou dost say,
“Come, live with Me ever in Heaven.”Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] My Opening Eyes With Rapture See
My opening eyes with rapture see
The dawn of this returning day;
My thoughts, O God, ascend to Thee,
While thus my early vows I pay.I yield my heart to Thee alone,
Nor would receive another guest:
Eternal King, erect Thy throne,
And reign sole monarch in my breast.O bid this trifling world retire,
And drive each carnal thought away;
Nor let me feel one vain desire,
One sinful thought, through all the day.Then, to Thy courts when I repair,
My soul shall rise on joyful wing,
The wonders of Thy love declare,
And join the strains which angels sing.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] Now That The Daylight Fills The Sky
Now that the daylight fills the sky,
We lift our hearts to God on high,
That He, in all we do or say,
Would keep us free from harm today.May He restrain our tongues from strife,
And shield from anger’s din our life,
And guard with watchful care our eyes
From earth’s absorbing vanities.O may our inmost hearts be pure,
From thoughts of folly kept secure,
And pride of sinful flesh subdued
Through sparing use of daily food.So we, when this day’s work is o’er,
And shades of night return once more,
Our path of trial safely trod,
Shall give the glory to our God.All praise to God the Father be,
All praise, eternal Son, to Thee,
Whom with the Spirit we adore
Forever and forevermore.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] O Father, Hear My Morning Prayer
O Father, hear my morning prayer,
Thine aid impart to me,
That I may make my life today
Acceptable to Thee.May this desire my spirit rule,
And, as the moments fly,
Something of good be born in me,
Something of evil die.Some grace that seeks my heart to win,
With shining victory meet;
Some sin that strives for mastery
Find overthrow complete.That so throughout the coming day
The hours shall carry me
A little farther from the world,
A little nearer Thee.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] We Praise Thee, Lord, With Earliest Morning Ray
We praise Thee, Lord, with earliest morning ray;
We praise Thee with the glowing light of day:
All things that live and move, by sea and land,
Forever ready at Thy service stand.The nations all are singing night and day,
“Glory to Thee, the mighty God, for aye!
By Thee, through Thee, in Thee all beings are!”
The listening earth repeats the song afar.Thy Name is great, Thy kingdom in us dwell;
Thy Will constrain, and feed and guide us well:
Guard us, redeem us in the evil hour;
For Thine the glory, Lord, and Thine the power!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 5:3] You That Have Spent The Silent Night
You that have spent the silent night
In sleep and quiet rest,
And joy to see the cheerful light
That riseth in the east,
Now clear your voice, now cheer your heart,
Come, help me now to sing;
Each willing wight, come bear a part,
To praise the heavenly King.And you whom care in prison keeps
Or sickness doth suppress,
Or secret sorrow breaks your sleeps
Or dolours to distress:
Yet bear a part in humble wise,
Yea, think it good accord,
And full and fitting sacrifice
Each soul to praise the Lord.Unto His joys for to attain
God grant us all His grace,
And send us after worldly pain
In Heav’n to have a place;
Where we may still enjoy that light
Which never shall decay:
Lord, for Thy mercy lend us might
To see that joyful day.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 10:1
-
[Psa 10:1] O Why So Far Removed
O why so far removed, O Lord,
And why so distant be;
Why hidest Thou Thy face from us
In our anxiety?The wicked in unholy pride
The lowly poor oppress;
Let them be taken in the snare
Of their own craftiness.The wicked in his arrogance
Refuses God to fear,
Nor is it in his thoughts at all
The sovereign God to hear.His ways are grievous and Thy laws
Too high for him to see;
He therefore his defiance bids,
And taunts his enemy.For he within his heart has said,
I suffer no distress,
Adversity comes not to me,
I still have had success.In cursing and deceit and fraud
His tongue is ever skilled;
With festering iniquity
His mouth is ever filled.He lurks in village hiding place,
And in dark corners bent,
He watches for the humble poor,
To seize the innocent.In stealth he cowers covertly
As lion in his lair,
That he may pounce upon the poor,
And catch him in his snare.He crouches low so that the poor
To his strong friends may fall,
And tells himself that God forgets
Or sees it not at all.Arise, O Lord, and lift Thy hand,
The poor in memory keep.
How can the wicked blaspheme God
And say He is asleep?For surely Thou dost see, O Lord,
Dost see the sin and spite;
And when the helpless look to Thee
Thou dost their wrong requite.Break Thou the force of evil men,
Befriend the fatherless,
Trace out the wicked everywhere,
Uproot their wickedness.The Lord our God is sovereign still,
The heathen all are slain.
Thou, Lord, hast heard the suppliant’s prayer
And dost his heart sustain.No more shall boasting arrogance
Or taunting pride oppress;
The poor and orphaned Thou wilt hear
And judge with righteousness.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 10:1] Wherefore Is It That Thou, O Lord
Wherefore is it that Thou, O Lord,
Dost stand from us afar?
And wherefore hidest Thou Thyself,
When times so troublous are?The wicked in his loftiness
Doth persecute the poor:
In these devices they have fram’d
Let them be taken sure.The wicked of his heart’s desire
Doth talk with boasting great;
He blesseth him that’s covetous,
Whom yet the Lord doth hate.The wicked, through his pride of face,
On God he doth not call;
And in the counsels of his heart
The Lord is not at all.His ways they always grievous are;
Thy judgments from his sight
Removèd are: at all his foes
He puffeth with despight.Within his heart he thus hath said,
I shall not movèd be;
And no adversity at all
Shall ever come to me.His mouth with cursing, fraud, deceit,
Is fill’d abundantly;
And underneath his tongue there is
Mischief and vanity.He closely sits in villages;
He slays the innocent:
Against the poor that pass him by
His cruel eyes are bent.He, lion-like, lurks in his den;
He waits the poor to take;
And when he draws him in his net,
His prey he doth him make.Himself he humbleth very low,
He croucheth down withal,
That so a multitude of poor
May by his strong ones fall.He thus hath said within his heart,
The Lord hath quite forgot;
He hides His countenance, and He
For ever sees it not.O Lord, do Thou arise; O God,
Lift up Thine hand on high:
Put not the meek afflicted ones
Out of Thy memory.Why is it that the wicked man
Thus doth the Lord despise?
Because that God will it require
He in his heart denies.Thou hast it seen; for their mischief
And spite Thou wilt repay:
The poor commits himself to Thee;
Thou art the orphan’s stay.The arm break of the wicked man,
And of the evil one;
Do Thou seek out his wickedness,
Until Thou findest none.The Lord is King through ages all,
Ev’n to eternity;
The heathen people from His land
Are perish’d utterly.O Lord, of those that humble are
Thou the desire didst hear;
Thou wilt prepare their heart, and Thou
To hear wilt bend Thine ear;To judge the fatherless, and those
That are oppressèd sore;
That man, that is but sprung of earth,
May them oppress no more.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 10:1] Why Dost Thou Stand Afar
Why dost Thou stand afar,
O Lord, in our distress?
And why dost Thou conceal Thyself
When troublous times oppress?Do Thou, O Lord, arise;
O God, lift up Thy hand;
Forget Thou not the suffering poor,
The humble in the land.Their foes Thou dost behold,
Their wrongs Thou wilt repay;
The poor commit themselves to Thee,
Thou art the orphans’ stay.Thou, Lord, hast heard their prayer
When humble hearts drew nigh;
Thou also wilt revive their strength
And ever hear their cry.Defend the fatherless,
And all who are oppressed,
That they by human pride and power
May be no more distressed.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 10:1] Why Doth The Lord Stand Off So Far?
Why doth the Lord stand off so far?
And why conceal His face,
When great calamities appear,
And times of deep distress?Lord, shall the wicked still deride
Thy justice and Thy power?
Shall they advance their heads in pride,
And still Thy saints devour?They put Thy judgments from their sight,
And then insult the poor;
They boast in their exalted height,
That they shall fall no more.Arise, O God, lift up Thine hand,
Attend our humble cry;
No enemy shall dare to stand
When God ascends on high.Why do the men of malice rage,
And say, with foolish pride,
“The God of Heav’n will ne’er engage
To fight on Zion’s side?”But Thou forever art our Lord;
And powerful is Thine hand,
As when the heathens felt Thy sword,
And perished from Thy land.Thou wilt prepare our hearts to pray,
And cause Thine ear to hear;
He hearkens what His children say,
And puts the world in fear.Proud tyrants shall no more oppress,
No more despise the just;
And mighty sinners shall confess
They are but earth and dust.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 10:1] Why Standest Thou Afar, O Lord?
Why standest Thou afar, O Lord,
Why art Thou hid in trouble’s hour?
The wicked persecute the poor
In haughty pride and reckless power.Let their devices work their fall,
For in their shame is all their pride;
And while they seek unrighteous gain
The Lord of justice is defied.The wicked thinks, in foolish pride,
There is no God Who will repay;
He has no fear of God or man
Because God’s judgments long delay.Unmoved by fear of coming doom,
On fraud and wickedness intent,
With craft he lurks and waits to catch
The helpless and the innocent.A lion crouching for his prey,
He waits the poor to overthrow;
He thinks that God remembers not,
Or hides His face and will not know.Arise, O Lord, lift up Thy hand,
O God, protect the poor and meek;
Why should the proud Thy justice doubt,
And words of bold defiance speak?O Lord, Thou wilt indeed requite,
The sin and sorrow Thou dost see;
The helpless and the fatherless
Commit themselves, O Lord, to Thee.Break Thou the power of wicked men
And let their works no longer stand,
The Lord is King forevermore,
Who drove the nations from His land.Lord, Thou hast heard the lowly prayer,
The fainting heart Thou wilt restore,
The helpless cause Thou wilt maintain,
That mortal man may boast no more.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 12:1
-
[Psa 12:1] Help, Lord, For Those Who Love Thee Fail
Help, Lord, for those who love Thee fail,
Thy faithful ones fall from the ranks,
And leave the liars to their tale,
False gratitude and treacherous thanks.Lord, may those flattering lips be lashed,
The boasting mouths stripped of their pride,
Those tongues that murmur unabashed,
Who is this God? We shall abide!“Because the poor have been oppressed,
And in their patience sigh alone,
I will protect them in My breast,”
The Lord has said, “These are Mine own.”And what He saith is purified
Like silver, sevenfold assayed.
Though by this evil age defied,
His Word of truth shall be obeyed.His promises shall stand secure,
His saints are safe, though ill betide,
He will protect His humble poor,
Though rogues are honored far and wide.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 12:1] Lord, If Thou Dost Not Soon Appear
Lord, if Thou dost not soon appear,
Virtue and truth will fly away;
A faithful man amongst us here
Will scarce be found, if Thou delay.The whole discourse, when neighbors meet,
Is filled with trifles loose and vain;
Their lips are flattery and deceit,
And their proud language is profane.But lips that with deceit abound
Shall not maintain their triumph long;
The God of vengeance will confound
The flattering and blaspheming tongue.“Yet shall our words be free,” they cry;
“Our tongues shall be controlled by none:
Where is the Lord will ask us why?
Or say our lips are not our own?”The Lord, who sees the poor oppressed,
And hears th’oppressor’s haughty strain,
Will rise to give His children rest,
Nor shall they trust His Word in vain.Thy Word, O Lord, though often tried,
Void of deceit shall still appear;
Not silver, seven times purified,
From dross, and mixture, shines so clear.Thy grace shall in the darkest hour
Defend the holy soul from harm;
Though when the vilest men have power,
On every side will sinners swarm.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 12:1] O Lord, Be Thou My Helper True
O Lord, be Thou my Helper true,
For just and godly men are few;
The faithful who can find?
From truth and wisdom men depart,
With flattering lips and double heart,
They speak their evil mind.The lips that speak, the truth to hide,
The tongues of arrogance and pride,
That boastful words employ,
False speaking tongues that boast their might,
That own no law, that know no right,
Jehovah will destroy.Because the poor are sore oppressed,
Because the needy are distressed,
And bitter are their cries,
The Lord will be their Helper strong;
To save them from contempt and wrong
Jehovah will arise.Jehovah’s promises are sure,
His words are true, His words are pure
As silver from the flame.
Though base men walk on every side,
His saints are safe, whate’er betide,
Protected by His Name.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 12:1] O Lord, Look Down From Heaven
O Lord, look down from Heaven, behold
And let Thy pity waken:
How few are we within Thy fold,
Thy saints by men forsaken!
True faith seems quenched on every hand,
Men suffer not Thy Word to stand;
Dark times have us o’ertaken.With fraud which they themselves invent
Thy truth they have confounded;
Their hearts are not with one consent
On Thy pure doctrine grounded.
While they parade with outward show,
They lead the people to and fro,
In error’s maze astounded.May God root out all heresy
And of false teachers rid us
Who proudly say: “Now, where is he
That shall our speech forbid us?
By right or might we shall prevail;
What we determine cannot fail;
We own no lord and master.”Therefore saith God, “I must arise,
The poor My help are needing;
To Me ascend My people’s cries,
And I have heard their pleading.
For them My saving Word shall fight
And fearlessly and sharply smite,
The poor with might defending.”As silver tried by fire is pure
From all adulteration,
So through God’s Word shall men endure
Each trial and temptation.
Its light beams brighter through the cross,
And, purified from human dross,
It shines through every nation.Thy truth defend, O God, and stay
This evil generation;
And from the error of their way
Keep Thine own congregation.
The wicked everywhere abound
And would Thy little flock confound;
But Thou art our Salvation.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 17:1
-
[Psa 17:1] Lord, Hear The Right
Lord, hear the right, regard my cry,
My prayer from lips sincere,
Send Thine approval from on high,
My righteousness make clear.
Thou in the night my heart hast tried,
Nor found it turned from Thee aside.With steadfast courage I design
No wrong to speak or do;
Thy path of life I choose for mine
And walk with purpose true.
For help, O God, I cry to Thee,
Assured that Thou wilt answer me.O Thou that ever savest those
Whose trust on Thee is stayed,
Preserving them from all their foes
By Thine almighty aid,
Let me Thy lovingkindness see,
Thy wondrous mercy, full and free.O guard me well as one would guard
The apple of the eye;
While deadly foes are pressing hard,
To Thee, to Thee I cry;
Do Thou my rest and refuge be,
O let Thy wings o’ershadow me.Mine enemy, grown strong in pride,
Would take my life away,
A lion lurking by my side,
Most greedy for his prey.
Confront and cast him down, O Lord,
From evil save me by Thy sword.Defend me from the men of pride,
Whose portion is below,
Who, with life’s treasures satisfied,
No better portion know;
They, with earth’s joys and wealth content,
Must leave them all when life is spent.When I in righteousness at last
Thy glorious face shall see,
When all the weary night is past,
And I awake with Thee
To view the glories that abide,
Then, then I shall be satisfied.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 17:1] Sweet Savior! In Thy Pitying Grace
Sweet Savior! in Thy pitying grace
Thy sweetness to our souls impart;
Thou only Lover of our race
Give healing to the wounded heart;
Oh! hear Thy contrite servants’ cry,
And save us, Jesu! lest we die.Long-suffering Jesu! hear our prayer
Who weep before Thee in our shame;
We have no hope but Thee; O spare,
Lord, spare us from th’undying flame;
Oh! hear Thy contrite servants’ cry,
And save us, Jesu! lest we die.All we have broken Thy command;
Lord, help us for Thy mercies’ sake;
Deliver us from Satan’s hand,
And safely to Thy kingdom take;
Oh! hear Thy contrite servants’ cry,
And save us, Jesu! lest we die.We flee for refuge to Thy love,
Salvation of the helpless soul;
Pour down Thy radiance from above,
And make these sin-worn spirits whole:
Oh! hear Thy contrite servants’ cry,
And save us, Jesu! lest we die.source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 20:1
-
[Psa 20:1] Dread Jehovah, God Of Nations
Dread Jehovah, God of nations,
From Thy temple in the skies,
Hear Thy people’s supplications,
Now for their deliverance rise.Lo, with deep contritions turning,
Humbly at Thy feet we bend;
Hear us, fasting, praying, mourning;
Hear us, spare us, and defend.Though our sins, our hearts confounding,
Long and loud for vengeance call,
Thou hast mercy more abounding,
Jesus’ blood can cleanse from all.Let that love veil our transgressions,
Let that blood our guilt efface:
Save Thy people from oppression,
Save from spoil Thy holy place.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 20:1] Now May The God Of Power And Grace
Now may the God of power and grace
Attend His people’s humble cry!
Jehovah hears when Israel prays,
And brings deliverance from on high.The Name of Jacob’s God defends
Better than shields or brazen walls;
He from His sanctuary sends
Succor and strength, when Zion calls.Well He remembers our sighs,
His love exceeds our best deserts;
His love accepts the sacrifice
Of humble groans and broken hearts.In His salvation is our hope,
And in the Name of Israel’s God,
Our troops shall lift their banners up
Our navies spread their flags abroad.Some trust in horses trained for war,
And some of chariots make their boasts;
Our surest expectations are
From Thee, the Lord of heav’nly hosts.O may the memory of Thy Name
Inspire our armies for the fight!
Our foes shall fall and die with shame,
Or quit the field with shameful flight.Now save us, Lord, from slavish fear;
Now let our hopes be firm and strong
Till the salvation shall appear,
And joy and triumph raise the song.source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 30:12
-
[Psa 30:12] Our Father, Unto Thee
Our Father, unto Thee
We now on bended knee
Our voices raise.
For all Thy love has wrought,
Our life with blessings fraught,
Transcending all our thought,
We speak Thy praise.And not by lips alone
Would we Thy goodness own,
And worship Thee,
But may our lives express
That which our hearts confess,
And we in holiness
More worthy be.And may our hands reach out
To those who round about
Demand our love.
In every hour of need
May we their pleadings heed,
Till earth becomes indeed
Like Heaven above.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 37:7
-
[Psa 37:7] Wait, And Murmur Not
O troubled heart, there is a home
Beyond the reach of toil and care;
A home where changes never come:
Who would not fain be resting there?Refrain
O wait, meekly wait, and murmur not,
O wait, meekly wait, and murmur not
O wait, O wait,
O wait, and murmur not.Yet when bowed down beneath the load
By Heav’n allowed, thine earthly lot;
Look up! thou’lt reach that blest abode;
Wait, meekly wait, and murmur not.Refrain
Toil on, nor deem, tho’ sore it be,
One sigh unheard, one prayer forgot;
The day of rest will dawn for thee;
Wait, meekly wait, and murmur not.Refrain

Psalms 88:9
-
[Psa 88:9] Father, I Stretch My Hands To Thee
Father, I stretch my hands to Thee,
No other help I know;
If Thou withdraw Thyself from me,
Ah! whither shall I go?What did Thine only Son endure,
Before I drew my breath!
What pain, what labor, to secure
My soul from endless death!O Jesus, could I this believe,
I now should feel Thy power;
Now my poor soul Thou wouldst retrieve,
Nor let me wait one hour.Surely Thou canst not let me die;
O speak, and I shall live;
And here I will unwearied lie,
Till Thou Thy Spirit give.Author of faith! to Thee I lift
My weary, longing eyes:
O let me now receive that gift!
My soul without it dies.The worst of sinners would rejoice,
Could they but see Thy face:
O, let me hear Thy quickening voice,
And taste Thy pardoning grace.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Psalms 95:6
-
[Psa 95:6] Brethren, We Have Met To Worship
Brethren, we have met to worship and adore the Lord our God;
Will you pray with all your power, while we try to preach the Word?
All is vain unless the Spirit of the Holy One comes down;
Brethren, pray, and holy manna will be showered all around.Brethren, see poor sinners round you slumbering on the brink of woe;
Death is coming, hell is moving, can you bear to let them go?
See our fathers and our mothers, and our children sinking down;
Brethren, pray and holy manna will be showered all around.Sisters, will you join and help us? Moses’ sister aided him;
Will you help the trembling mourners who are struggling hard with sin?
Tell them all about the Savior, tell them that He will be found;
Sisters, pray, and holy manna will be showered all around.Is there here a trembling jailer, seeking grace, and filled with tears?
Is there here a weeping Mary, pouring forth a flood of tears?
Brethren, join your cries to help them; sisters, let your prayers abound;
Pray, Oh pray that holy manna may be scattered all around.Let us love our God supremely, let us love each other, too;
Let us love and pray for sinners, till our God makes all things new.
Then He’ll call us home to Heaven, at His table we’ll sit down;
Christ will gird Himself and serve us with sweet manna all around.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 95:6] Father, In Whom We Live
Father, in Whom we live, in Whom we are and move,
The glory, power and praise receive for Thy creating love.
Let all the angel throng give thanks to God on high,
While earth repeats the joyful song and echoes to the sky.Incarnate Deity, let all the ransomed race
Render in thanks their lives to Thee for Thy redeeming grace.
The grace to sinners showed ye heavenly choirs proclaim,
And cry “Salvation to our God, salvation to the Lamb!”Spirit of Holiness, let all Thy saints adore
Thy sacred energy, and bless Thine heart renewing power.
Not angel tongues can tell Thy love’s ecstatic height,
The glorious joy unspeakable the beatific sight.Eternal, Triune God, let all the hosts above,
Let all on earth below record and dwell upon Thy love.
When heaven and earth are fled before Thy glorious face,
Sing all the saints Thy love hath made Thine everlasting praise.source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 95:6] We Now Have Met To Worship Thee
We now have met to worship Thee,
And glorify Thy Name, dear Lord;
Help every one attentive be,
And heed the teaching of Thy Word.
Fill every heart with love divine,
Teach every tongue Thy praise to sing.Refrain
Help each to say, Lord, we are Thine,
And all we have to Thee we bring.
That when our bodies turn to dust,
Our souls in Heav’n be glorified.Assist thy servant to proclaim
The Gospel message plain and pure,
That all who hear accept the same,
And make in Thee salvation sure.
In Thee alone help us to trust,
And in Thy love and laws abide,Refrain

Psalms 99:1
-
[Psa 99:1] God The Lord Is King
God the Lord is King: before Him
Earth with all thy nations, wait!
Where the cherubim adore Him,
Sitteth He in royal state:
He is holy; He is Holy;
Blessèd, only Potentate!God the Lord is King of glory,
Zion, tell the world His fame;
Ancient Israel, the story
Of His faithfulness proclaim:
He is holy; He is holy;
Holy is His aweful Name.In old times when dangers darkened,
When, invoked by priest and seer,
To His people’s cry He hearkened,
Answered them in all their fear;
He is holy, He is holy;
As they called, they found Him near.Laws divine to them were spoken
From the pillar of the cloud;
Sacred precepts, quickly broken!
Fiercely then His vengeance flowed:
He is holy; He is holy;
To the dust their hearts were bowed.But their Father God forgave them
When they sought His face once more:
Ever ready was to save them,
Tenderly did He restore:
He is holy; He is holy;
We too will His grace implore.God in Christ is all forgiving,
Waits His promise to fulfill;
Come, exalt Him, all the living,
Come, ascend His holy hill;
He is holy; He is holy;
Worship at His holy hill.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 99:1] Jehovah Reigns In Majesty
Jehovah reigns in majesty,
Let all the nations quake;
He dwells between the cherubim,
Let earth’s foundations shake.
Supreme in Zion is the Lord,
Exalted gloriously,
Ye nations, praise His Name with awe,
The Holy One is He.The mighty King loves justice well,
And equity ordains;
He rules His people righteously,
And faithfulness maintains.
O magnify the Lord our God,
Let Him exalted be;
In worship at His footstool bow,
The Holy One is He.When priests and prophets called on God,
He their petitions heard;
His cloudy pillar led them on,
And they obeyed His Word.
Though sending judgments for their sins,
He pardoned graciously;
Exalt the Lord and worship Him,
The Holy One is He.Play source: Cyberhymnal
