Psalms 22:28
-
[Psa 22:28] God Of Our Fathers, Unto Thee
God of our fathers, unto Thee
Our fathers cried in danger’s hour,
And then Thou gavest them to see
The acts of Thine almighty power.
They cried to Thee, and Thou didst hear;
They called on Thee, and Thou didst save;
And we their sons today draw near
Thy Name to praise, Thy help to crave.Refrain
Lord God of hosts, uplift Thine hand,
Protect and bless our fatherland.Thine is the majesty, O Lord,
And Thine dominion over all;
When Thou commandest, at Thy word
Great kings and nations rise or fall.
For eastern realms, for western coasts,
For islands washed by every sea,
The praise be giv’n, O God of hosts,
Not unto us, but unto Thee.Refrain
If in Thy grace Thou should’st allow
Our fame to wax through coming days,
Still grant us humbly, then as now,
Thy help to crave, Thy Name to praise.
Not all alike in speech or birth,
Alike we bow before Thy throne;
One fatherland throughout the earth
Our Father’s noble acts we own.Refrain

Psalms 47:6
-
[Psa 47:6] He’s My King
All day long of Jesus I am singing,
He my song of joy will ever be;
All the while He keeps my heart-bells ringing,
For His love is ev’rything to me.Refrain
He’s my King, and O I dearly love Him,
He’s my King, no other is above Him;
All day long enraptured praise I sing,
He’s my Savior, He’s my King!Streams of love around my soul are flowing,
From His heart love’s everlasting spring;
That is why my faith in Him I’m showing,
That is why an endless song I sing.Refrain
In His light, I’m going home to glory,
With the souls who trust His saving grace;
Going home to sing and tell His story,
In the blessèd sunshine of His face.Refrain

[Psa 47:6] O Sing His Praise
O sing His praise, who governs earth and sky;
Sing His tender mercy, ever nigh;
Sing of the love that ransoms man from sin,
Love that conquered death, our souls to win.Refrain
Sweet praises bring the heav’nly King;
To every nation tell His everlasting love;
Sweet praises bring the heav’nly King;
He guides us in His ways,
He sends the sunny days;
And every cloud His will obeys
With blessing from above.O sing His praise, with gratitude sincere;
Tokens of His goodness thro’ the year;
Sing of the care providing for our needs,
Thro’ the stranger-land, He gently leads.Refrain
O sing His praise; the thankful notes prolong;
Let our lives re-echo every song;
Let heart and hand the happy strain repeat,
Laying loving service at His feet.Refrain

[Psa 47:6] Savior, Blessed Savior
Savior, blessèd Savior, listen while we sing;
Hearts and voices ringing, praises to our King;
All we have to offer, all we hope to be,
Body, soul, and spirit, all we yield to Thee.Near, ever nearer, Christ, we draw to Thee,
Deep in adoration bending low the knee;
Thou for our redemption cam’st on earth to die;
Thou, that we might follow, hast gone up on high.Great and ever greater, are Thy mercies here;
True and everlasting are the glories there,
Where no pain nor sorrow, toil nor care is known,
Where the angel legions circle round Thy throne.Dark and ever darker, was the wintry past,
Now a ray of gladness o’er our path is cast;
Every day that passeth, every hour that flies,
Tells of love unfeignèd, love that never dies.Clearer still and clearer dawns the light from Heav’n,
In our sadness bringing news of sin forgiven;
Life has lost its shadows, pure the light within;
Thou hast shed Thy radiance on a world of sin.Brighter still and brighter glows the western sun,
Shedding all its gladness o’er our work that’s done;
Time will soon be over, toil and sorrow past,
May we, blessèd Savior, find a rest at last.Onward, ever onward, journeying o’er the road
Worn by saints before us, journeying on to God;
Leaving all behind us, may we hasten on,
Backward never looking till the prize is won.Higher, then, and higher bear the ransomed soul,
Earthly toils forgetting, Savior, to its goal;
Where in joys unthought of saints with angels sing,
Never weary, raising, praises to their King.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Psa 47:6] Sing We The King
Sing we the King Who is coming to reign,
Glory to Jesus, the Lamb that was slain.
Life and salvation His empire shall bring,
Joy to the nations when Jesus is King.Refrain
Come let us sing, praise to our King,
Jesus our King, Jesus our King,
This is our song, who to Jesus belong:
Glory to Jesus, to Jesus our King.All men shall dwell in His marvelous light,
Races long severed His love shall unite,
Justice and truth from His scepter shall spring,
Wrong shall be ended when Jesus is King.Refrain
All shall be well in His kingdom of peace,
Freedom shall flourish and wisdom increase,
Foe shall be friend when His triumph we sing,
Sword shall be sickle when Jesus is King.Refrain
Souls shall be saved from the burden of sin,
Doubt shall not darken His witness within,
Hell hath no terrors, and death hath no sting;
Love is victorious when Jesus is King.Refrain
Kingdom of Christ, for thy coming we pray,
Hasten, O Father, the dawn of the day
When this new song Thy creation shall sing,
Satan is vanquished, and Jesus is King.Refrain
