• [Psa 45:15] There Is Coming On A Day Of Great Rejoicing

  There is coming on a great day of rejoicing, When all the ransomed shall gather, their Lord as King to crown; All earth’s sorrow and its sin then disappearing, Every heart will the Savior then own. Refrain O the crowning day is coming, Hallelujah! O the crowning day is coming, Praise the Lord! For our Savior-King shall reign, He shall have His own again, Hallelujah, Hallelujah! From far distant lands battalions now are marching, Who will have part in the honors which Jesus will bestow; God be praised for all the souls that now are starting, Swelling the hosts that to victory go. Refrain Do you, comrades, feel at times a bit downhearted, When in the fight all looks dark, and the foe seems fierce and strong? At such times I find my fear has all departed When I remember that day coming on. Refrain

• [Psa 149:6] O Lord, ’tis Matter Of High Praise

  O Lord, ’tis matter of high praise, Thy Word on us doth shine, But happy they who feel its rays, And glorious power divine. O let poor sinners feel their sin Prick them, as with a sword; And purge out all that filth within; So will we praise Thy Word. Enlightened souls have cause to sing, Who wounded were by Thee; True cause of joy to such doth spring; For they, Lord, healèd be. And now in robes most richly decked, They to the King are brought; Surpassing angels, for have they A robe so richly wrought. We therefore throw our crowns below Thy high and glorious throne; And must all say, both night and day, Thou worthy art alone, All glory, power, and praise to have, By us forevermore; Thus let us sing unto our King, And Him in heart adore.
