Psalms 17:12

Context

17:12 He 1  is like a lion 2  that wants to tear its prey to bits, 3 

like a young lion crouching 4  in hidden places.

Psalms 19:6

Context

19:6 It emerges from the distant horizon, 5 

and goes from one end of the sky to the other; 6 

nothing can escape 7  its heat.

Psalms 131:2

Context

131:2 Indeed 8  I am composed and quiet, 9 

like a young child carried by its mother; 10 

I am content like the young child I carry. 11 

Psalms 137:7

Context

137:7 Remember, O Lord, what the Edomites did

on the day Jerusalem fell. 12 

They said, “Tear it down, tear it down, 13 

right to its very foundation!”
