2 tn Heb “upon the sons of man.”

3 tn Or “acts wisely.” The Hiphil is exhibitive.

4 sn Anyone who is wise and seeks God refers to the person who seeks to have a relationship with God by obeying and worshiping him.

5 tn Heb “sit [enthroned].” The prefixed verbal form is understood as a jussive here, expressing the psalmist’s prayer.

6 tn Heb “loyal love and faithfulness appoint, let them protect him.”

7 tn Heb “my life.”

8 sn Psalm 104. The psalmist praises God as the ruler of the world who sustains all life.

9 tn Heb “very great.”
