• [Psa 119:42] Fully Trusting

  All my doubts I give to Jesus! I’ve His gracious promise heard— “I shall never be confounded”— I am trusting in that word. Refrain I am trusting, fully trusting, Sweetly trusting in His Word; I am trusting, fully trusting, Sweetly trusting in His Word. All my sin I lay on Jesus! He doth wash me in His blood; He will keep me pure and holy, He will bring me home to God. Refrain All my fears I give to Jesus! Rests my weary soul on Him; Tho’ my way be hid in darkness, Never can His light grow dim. Refrain All my joys I give to Jesus! He is all I want of bliss; He of all the worlds is Master— He has all I need in this. Refrain All I am I give to Jesus! • [Psa 119:42] I Do Not Know How

  I do not know how Adam’s sin Lives on in you and me, Nor how it causes all the wrong And sorrow that we see. Refrain But I read it in God’s Word, and I believe it; Yes, I believe it, fully believe it! I read it in God’s Word, and I believe it, And that is all I need to do. I do not know how God could give Unto a maiden fair, His holy Son, in Bethl’hem born, His bed a manger bare. Refrain I do not know how God could lay My sins upon His Son, Nor how, on Calv’ry’s cross, for me He perfect pardon won. Refrain I do not know how God could call His Son from out the grave, Nor how that way to me His Everlasting life He gave. Refrain I do not know how Jesus’ blood Can cleanse my heart from sin, Nor how, by faith, in ev’ry fight The vict’ry I may win. Refrain I do not know how one day He Can come to earth again, Nor how like Him I shall be made, And ever with Him reign. Refrain

Psalms 119:114

• [Psa 119:114] Hail, Sovereign Love

  Hail, sovereign love that first began, The scheme to rescue fallen man; Hail matchless free eternal grace, That gave my soul a hiding place. Against the God who rules the sky, I fought with hand uplifted high, Despised the mention of His grace, Too proud to seek a hiding place. Enwrapped in thick Egyptian night, And fond of darkness more than light, Madly I ran the sinful race, Secure without a hiding place. But thus th’ eternal counsel ran, “Almighty Love, arrest that man!” I felt the arrows of distress, And found I had no hiding place. Indignant justice stood in view, To Sinai’s fiery mount I flew, But Justice cried with frowning face, “This mountain is no hiding place!” Ere long a heavenly voice I heard, And Mercy’s angel form appeared. Who led me on with gentle pace, To Jesus Christ, my hiding place. On Him Almighty vengeance fell, That must have sunk a world to hell; He bore it for a chosen race, And thus became their hiding place. Should storms of sevenfold vengeance roll, And shake this earth from pole to pole; No flaming bolt could daunt my face, For Jesus is my hiding place. A few more rolling suns at most, Shall land me safe on Heaven’s coast. There I shall sing the song of grace, To Jesus Christ, my hiding place!
