Psalms 114:1-2

Psalm 114¹

114:1 When Israel left Egypt,

when the family of Jacob left a foreign nation behind,²

114:2 Judah became his sanctuary,

Israel his kingdom.

¹sn Psalm 114. The psalmist recalls the events of the exodus and conquest and celebrates God’s kingship over his covenant people.

²tn Heb “the house of Jacob from a nation speaking a foreign language.” The Hebrew verb לָעַז (la’at, “to speak a foreign language”) occurs only here in the OT.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
