Numbers 15:15

Context
15:15 One statute must apply 1  to you who belong to the congregation and to the resident foreigner who is living among you, as a permanent 2  statute for your future generations. You and the resident foreigner will be alike 3  before the Lord.

Numbers 24:14

24:14 And now, I am about to go 4  back to my own people. Come now, and I will advise you as to what this people will do to your people in the future.” 5

3 tn Heb “as you, as [so] the alien.”

4 tn The construction is the particle הִנֵּה (hinneh) suffixed followed by the active participle. This is the futur instans use of the participle, to express something that is about to happen: “I am about to go.”
