Nehemiah 4:19

4:19 I said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, “The work is demanding¹ and extensive, and we are spread out on the wall, far removed from one another.

Context
9:3 For one-fourth of the day they stood in their place and read from the book of the law of the LORD their God, and for another fourth they were confessing their sins² and worshiping the LORD their God.

¹tn Heb “much.”

²tn Heb “confessing.” The words “their sins” are not present in the Hebrew text of v. 3, but are clearly implied here because they are explicitly stated in v. 2.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
