Nehemiah 4:11

4:11 Our adversaries also boasted,¹ “Before they are aware or anticipate² anything, we will come in among them and kill them, and we will bring this work to a halt!”

8:1 all the people gathered together³ in the plaza which was in front of the Water Gate. They asked⁴ Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had commanded Israel.

The Population of Jerusalem

11:1 So the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem,⁵ while the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of every ten to settle in Jerusalem, the holy city, while the other nine⁶ remained in other cities.

Nehemiah 13:18

Context
13:18 Isn’t this the way your ancestors⁷ acted, causing our God to bring on them and on this city all this misfortune? And now you are causing even more wrath on Israel, profaning the Sabbath like this!”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
