Nehemiah 10:29

Context
10:29 hereby participate with their colleagues the town leaders¹ and enter into a curse and an oath² to adhere to³ the law of God which was given through Moses the servant of God, and to obey⁴ carefully all the commandments of the LORD our Lord,⁵ along with his ordinances and his statutes.

Nehemiah 13:25

Context
13:25 So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying, “You will not marry off⁶ your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

²tn The expression “a curse and an oath” may be a hendiadys, meaning “an oath with penalties.”

³tn Heb “to walk in.”

⁴tn Heb “keep.” See the note on the word “obey” in Neh 1:5.

⁵tn The Hebrew term translated “Lord” here is אֲדֹנָי (’adonay).

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
