Nehemiah 10:1

10:1 On the sealed documents were the following names: 1 

Nehemiah the governor, son of Hacaliah, along with Zedekiah,

Nehemiah 11:6

Context
11:6 The sum total of the descendants of Perez who were settling in Jerusalem was 468 exceptional men.

Nehemiah 11:14

11:14 and his colleagues 2  who were exceptional men – 128. The officer over them was Zabdiel the son of Haggedolim.

11:16 Shabbethai and Jozabad, leaders 3  of the Levites, were in charge of the external work for the temple of God;

12:7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the leaders 4  of the priests and their colleagues 5  in the days of Jeshua.

Nehemiah 12:28

12:28 The singers 6  were also assembled from the district around Jerusalem and from the settlements of the Netophathites

1 tn The words “were the following names” are not in the Hebrew text but have been supplied in the translation for clarity. Cf. vv. 9, 10, 14.

2 tc The translation reads with the LXX וְאֶחָיו (vÿekhayv, “and his brothers”) rather than the MT reading וַאֲחֵיהֶם (vaakhehem, “and their brothers”).

3 tn Heb “who were of the heads.”

4 tn Heb “heads” (so also in v. 12).

5 tn Heb “brothers” (also in vv. 8, 9, 24, 36).

6 tn Heb “the sons of the singers.”
