Nehemiah 1:6

Context
1:6 may your ear be attentive and your eyes be open to hear the prayer of your servant that I am praying to you today throughout both day and night on behalf of your servants the Israelites. I am confessing the sins of the Israelites that we have committed¹ against you – both I myself and my family² have sinned.

Nehemiah 4:14

Context
4:14 When I had made an inspection,³ I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awesome Lord,⁴ and fight on behalf of your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your families!”⁵

¹tn Heb “have sinned.” For stylistic reasons – to avoid redundancy in English – this was translated as “committed.”

²tn Heb “the house of my father.”

³tn Heb “And I saw.”

⁴tn The Hebrew term translated “Lord” here is אֲדֹנָי (’adonay).

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
