8:16 When it was evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.¹

Sending Out the Twelve Apostles

10:1 Jesus² called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits³ so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness.⁴

¹sn Note how the author distinguishes healing from exorcism here, implying that the two are not identical.

²tn Grk “And he.”

³sn Unclean spirits refers to evil spirits.

⁴tn Grk “and every [kind of] sickness.” Here “every” was not repeated in the translation for stylistic reasons.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
