6:56 And wherever he would go – into villages, towns, or countryside – they would place the sick in the marketplaces, and would ask him if 1  they could just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

Mark 15:20

Context
15:20 When they had finished mocking 2  him, they stripped him of the purple cloak and put his own clothes back on him. Then 3  they led him away to crucify him. 4 

1 tn Grk “asked that they might touch.”

2 tn The aorist tense is taken consummatively here.

3 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the narrative.
