Mark 16:5

16:5 Then 1  as they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe 2  sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

16:8 Then 3  they went out and ran from the tomb, for terror and bewilderment had seized them. 4  And they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

1 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the narrative.
