• [Luk 2:46] Within The Father’s House

  Within the Father’s house The Son hath found His home; And to His temple suddenly The Lord of Life hath come. The doctors of the law Gaze on the wondrous Child, And marvel at His gracious words Of wisdom undefiled. Yet not to them is giv’n The mighty truth to know, To lift the fleshly veil which hides Incarnate God below. The secret of the Lord Escapes each human eye, And faithful pondering hearts await The full epiphany. Lord, visit Thou our souls, And teach us by Thy grace Each dim revealing of Thyself With loving awe to trace; Till from our darkened sight The cloud shall pass away, And on the cleansèd soul shall burst The everlasting day. Till we behold Thy face, And know, as we are known, Thee, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, Co-equal Three in One.

Luke 15:6

• [Luk 15:6] ’twas A Glad Day When Jesus Found Me

  I was lost in sin when Jesus found me, But He rescued me, all glory to His Name! And the cords of worldly pleasure bound me, Till He saved me from sin and shame. Refrain ’Twas a glad day when Jesus found me, When His strong arms were thrown around me; When my sins He buried in the deepest sea, And my soul He filled with joy and victory. ’Twas a glad day, O hallelujah! ’Twas a glad day He claimed His own. I will shout a glad hosanna in glory When I see Him upon His throne. O the bells of heaven now are ringing, For I hear their tones within my ransomed soul; And my heart is filled with joyful singing Since the Savior has made me whole. • [Luk 15:24] Abba, Father! We Approach Thee

  “Abba, Father!” We approach Thee In our Savior’s precious Name; We, Thy children, here assembled, Now Thy promised blessing claim; From our sins His blood hath washed us, ’Tis through Him our souls draw nigh, And Thy Spirit, too, hath taught us, “Abba, Father,” thus to cry. Once as prodigals we wandered In our folly far from Thee, But Thy grace, o’er sin abounding, Rescued us from misery; Thou Thy prodigals hast pardoned, Kissed us with a Father’s love, Spread the festive board, and called us, E’er to dwell with Thee above. Clothed in garments of salvation, At Thy table is our place, We rejoice, and Thou rejoicest, In the riches of Thy grace; “It is meet,” we hear Thee saying, “We should merry and be glad, I have found My once lost children, Now they live who once were dead.” “Abba, Father!” all adore Thee, All rejoice in Heav’n above, While in us they learn the wonders Of Thy wisdom, grace, and love; Soon before Thy throne assembled, All Thy children shall proclaim, “Glory, everlasting glory, Be to God and to the Lamb!”

  God is calling the prodigal, come without delay, Hear, O hear Him calling, calling now for thee. Tho’ you’ve wandered so far from His presence, come today, Hear His loving voice calling still.
