Luke 15:21

Context
15:21 Then¹ his son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven² and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’³

Luke 18:20

Context
18:20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’”⁴

¹tn Here δέ (de) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the narrative.

²sn The phrase against heaven is a circumlocution for God. 1st century Judaism tended to minimize use of the divine name out of reverence.

³sn The younger son launches into his confession just as he had planned. See vv. 18-19.

⁴sn A quotation from Exod 20:12-16 and Deut 5:16-20. Jesus cited the parts of the ten commandments that relate to how others should be treated.

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
