Leviticus 9:6

Context
9:6 Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do¹ so that the glory of the Lord may appear² to you.”

Leviticus 17:12

Context
17:12 Therefore, I have said to the Israelites: No person among you is to eat blood,³ and no resident foreigner who lives among you is to eat blood.⁴

¹tn Heb “which the Lord commanded you shall/should do.”

²tn Heb “and the glory of the Lord will appear,” but the construction with the simple vav (ו) plus the imperfect/jussive (וְיֵרָא, vÿyera’; literally, “and he will appear”) suggests purpose in this context, not just succession of events (i.e., “so that he might appear”).

³tn Heb “all/any person from you shall not eat blood.”

⁴tn Heb “and the sojourner, the one sojourning in your midst, shall not eat blood.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
