Leviticus 8:17

Context
8:17 but the rest of the bull – its hide, its flesh, and its dung – he completely burned up 1  outside the camp just as the Lord had commanded Moses. 2 

Leviticus 19:6

19:6 It must be eaten on the day of your sacrifice and on the following day, 3  but what is left over until the third day must be burned up. 4 

Leviticus 21:9

Context
21:9 If a daughter of a priest profanes herself by engaging in prostitution, she is profaning her father. She must be burned to death. 5

4 tn Heb “shall be burned with fire”; KJV “shall be burnt in the fire.” Because “to burn with fire” is redundant in contemporary English the present translation simply has “must be burned up.”
