tn Heb “and the sin which they committed on it becomes known”; KJV “which they have sinned against it.” The Hebrew עָלֶיהָ (’aleha, “on it”) probably refers back to “one of the commandments” in v. 13 (J. Milgrom, Leviticus [AB], 1:243).

sn See the note on the word “slaughter” in v. 15.

tn Heb “And he shall bring out the bull to from outside to the camp.”

tn Heb “And if spreading [infinitive absolute] it spreads [finite verb].” For the infinitive absolute used to highlight contrast rather than emphasis see GKC 343 §113.p.

tn Heb “And in your harvesting the harvest.”

tn Heb “you shall not complete the corner of your field to harvest.”

sn Regarding “profane,” see the note on Lev 10:10 above.

sn Regarding the Hebrew term for “gifts,” see the note on Lev 1:9 above (cf. also 3:11 and 16 in combination with the word for “food” that follows in the next phrase here).

tc Smr and all early versions have the plural adjective “holy” rather than the MT singular noun “holiness.”

tn Heb “and they will not lift up on it sin.” The pronoun “it” (masculine) apparently refers to any item of food that belongs to the category of “holy offerings” (see above).

tn Heb “and die in it.”

 tn Heb “to this month.”

tn Heb “And you shall count off for yourself.”

tn Heb “seven years seven times.”

tn Heb “and they shall be for you, the days of the seven Sabbaths of years, forty-nine years.”
