Leviticus 21:21

Context
21:21 No man from the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a physical flaw may step forward¹ to present the Lord’s gifts; he has a physical flaw, so he must not step forward to present the food of his God.

Leviticus 23:36

Context
23:36 For seven days you must present a gift to the Lord. On the eighth day there is to be a holy assembly for you, and you must present a gift to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly day;² you must not do any regular work.

¹tn Or “shall approach” (see HALOT 670 s.v. נגשׁ).

²tn The Hebrew term עֲצֶרֶת (’atseret) “solemn assembly [day]” derives from a root associated with restraint or closure. It could refer either to the last day as “closing assembly” day of the festival (e.g., NIV) or a special day of restraint expressed in a “solemn assembly” (e.g., NRSV); cf. NLT “a solemn closing assembly.”

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
