Joshua 7:12

Context
7:12 The Israelites are unable to stand before their enemies; they retreat because they have become subject to annihilation.¹ I will no longer be with you,² unless you destroy what has contaminated you.³

Joshua 7:25

Context
7:25 Joshua said, “Why have you brought disaster⁴ on us? The Lord will bring disaster on you today!” All Israel stoned him to death. (They also stoned and burned the others.)⁵

¹tn Heb “they turn [the] back before their enemies because they are set apart [to destruction by the Lord].”

²tn The second person pronoun is plural in Hebrew, indicating these words are addressed to the entire nation.

³tn Heb “what is set apart [to destruction by the Lord] from your midst.”

⁴tn Or “trouble.” The word is “achor” in Hebrew (also in the following clause).

⁵tc Heb “and they burned them with fire and they stoned them with stones.” These words are somewhat parenthetical in nature and are omitted in the LXX; they may represent a later scribal addition.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
