Joshua 6:7

Context
6:7 And he told¹ the army,² “Move ahead³ and march around the city, with armed troops going ahead of the ark of the Lord.”

Joshua 6:14

Context
6:14 They marched around the city one time on the second day, then returned to the camp. They did this six days in all.

¹tn An alternative reading is “and they said.” In this case the subject is indefinite and the verb should be translated as passive, “[the army] was told.”

²tn Heb “the people.”

³tn Heb “pass by.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
