6:23 So the young spies went and brought out Rahab, her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought out her whole family and took them to a place outside 1  the Israelite camp.

24:26 Joshua wrote these words in the Law Scroll of God. He then took a large stone and set it up there under the oak tree near the Lord’s shrine.

2 tn Heb “the territory of the sons of Dan went out from them.”

3 tn Heb “Leshem.” The pronoun (“it”) has replaced the name “Leshem” in the translation for stylistic reasons.

4 tn Heb “according to the name of their father.”

5 tn Or perhaps, “for.”

6 tn The words “the produce of” are supplied for clarification.

7 tn Heb “of the house of slavery.”

8 tn Heb “for the Lord our God, he is the one who brought up us and our fathers from the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves.”

9 tn Or “great signs.”

10 tn Heb “and he guarded us in all the way in which we walked and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed.”
