21:27 They assigned to the Gershonite clans of the Levites the following cities:¹ from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan (a city of refuge for one who committed manslaughter) and Beeshtarah, along with the grazing areas of each – a total of two cities;

22:23 If we have built² an altar for ourselves to turn back from following the Lord by making³ burnt sacrifices and grain offerings on it, or by offering⁴ tokens of peace⁵ on it, the Lord himself will punish us.⁶

¹tn The words “they assigned” and “the following cities” are supplied for clarification (also in v. 34).

²tn Heb “by building.” The prepositional phrase may be subordinated to what precedes, “if in unfaithfulness…by building.”

³tn Heb “or if to offer up.”

⁴tn Heb “or if to make.”

⁵tn Or “peace offerings.”

⁶tn Heb “the Lord, he will seek.” Perhaps this is a self-imprecation in an oath, “may the Lord himself punish us.”

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
