2 tn Heb “the pursuers.” The object (“them”) is added for clarification.

3 tn Heb “the ones chasing them.” This has been rendered as “their pursuers” in the translation to avoid redundancy with the preceding clause.

4 tn Heb “The pursuers looked in all the way and did not find [them].”

5 tn Heb “At the end of three days, after they made the treaty with them, they heard that they were neighbors to them and in their midst they were living.”

6 tn Heb “I will send them so they may arise and walk about in the land and describe it in writing according to their inheritance and come to me.”
