Joshua 14:8-9

Context
14:8 My countrymen¹ who accompanied² me frightened the people,³ but I remained loyal to the Lord my God.⁴ 14:9 That day Moses made this solemn promise:⁵ ‘Surely the land on which you walked⁶ will belong to you and your descendants permanently,⁷ for you remained loyal to the Lord your God.’

¹tn Heb “brothers.”

²tn Heb “went up with.”

³tn Heb “made the heart[s] of the people melt.”

⁴tn Heb “I filled up after the Lord my God,” an idiomatic statement meaning that Caleb remained loyal to the Lord.

⁵tn Heb “swore an oath.”

⁶tn Heb “on which your foot has walked.”

⁷tn Heb “will belong to you for an inheritance, and to your sons forever.”

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
