Joshua 10:2

Context
10:2 All Jerusalem was terrified¹ because Gibeon was a large city, like one of the royal cities. It was larger than Ai and all its men were warriors.

Joshua 11:12

Context

11:12 Joshua captured all these royal cities and all their kings and annihilated them with the sword,² as Moses the Lord’s servant had commanded.

¹tn This statement is subordinated to v. 1 in the Hebrew text, which reads literally, “When Adoni-Zedek…they feared greatly.” The subject of the plural verb at the beginning of v. 2 is probably the residents of Jerusalem.

²tn Heb “and he struck them down with the edge of the sword, he annihilated them.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
