Joshua 1:5

Context
1:5 No one will be able to resist you 1  all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone.

Joshua 10:6

Context

10:6 The men of Gibeon sent this message to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal, “Do not abandon 2  your subjects! 3  Rescue us! Help us! For all the Amorite kings living in the hill country are attacking us.” 4 

Joshua 24:20

Context
24:20 If 5  you abandon the Lord and worship 6  foreign gods, he will turn against you; 7  he will bring disaster on you and destroy you, 8  though he once treated you well.” 9 

1 tn Heb “A man will not stand before you.” The second person pronouns in this verse are singular, indicating Joshua is the addressee.

2 tn Heb “do not let your hand drop from us.”
