Joshua 1:15

Context
1:15 until the Lord gives your brothers a place like yours to settle and they conquer the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to them. Then you may go back to your allotted land and occupy the land Moses the Lord’s servant assigned you east of the Jordan.” 1 

Joshua 3:16

Context
3:16 the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. 2  It piled up far upstream 3  at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea). 4  The people crossed the river opposite Jericho. 5

4:7 tell them how the water of the Jordan stopped flowing 6  before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the water of the Jordan stopped flowing. 7  These stones will be a lasting memorial for the Israelites.”

10:11 As they fled from Israel on the slope leading down from 11  Beth Horon, the Lord threw down on them large hailstones from the sky, 12  all the way to Azekah. They died – in fact, more died from the hailstones than the Israelites killed with the sword.

10:39 They 13  captured it, its king, and all its surrounding cities and put the sword to them. They annihilated everyone who lived there; they 14  left no survivors. They 15  did to Debir and its king what they 16  had done to Libnah and its king and to Hebron. 17

14:12 Now, assign me this hill country which the Lord promised me at that time! No doubt you heard at that time that the Anakites live there in large, fortified cities. 18  But, assuming the Lord is with me, I will conquer 19  them, as the Lord promised.”

17:15 Joshua replied to them, “Since you have so many people, 20  go up into the forest and clear out a place to live in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites, for the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you.”

Joshua 18:7

18:7 But the Levites will not have an allotted portion among you, for their inheritance is to serve the Lord. 21  Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have already received their allotted land 22  east of the Jordan which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned them.”

Joshua 20:9

20:9 These were the cities of refuge 23  appointed for all the Israelites and for resident foreigners living among them. Anyone who accidentally killed someone could escape there and not be executed by 24  the avenger of blood, at least until his case was reviewed by the assembly. 25 

Joshua 22:4

Context
22:4 Now the Lord your God has made your fellow Israelites secure, 26  just as he promised them. So now you may turn around and go to your homes 27  in your own land 28  which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned to you east of the Jordan.

24:7 Your fathers 29  cried out for help to the Lord; he made the area between you and the Egyptians dark, 30  and then drowned them in the sea. 31  You witnessed with your very own eyes 32  what I did in Egypt. You lived in the wilderness for a long time. 33
