9:56 God repaid Abimelech for the evil he did to his father by murdering his seventy half-brothers. 1 

Judges 11:3

11:3 So Jephthah left 2  his half-brothers 3  and lived in the land of Tob. Lawless men joined Jephthah’s gang and traveled with him. 4 

Judges 9:5

Context
9:5 He went to his father’s home in Ophrah and murdered his half-brothers, 5  the seventy legitimate 6  sons of Jerub-Baal, on one stone. Only Jotham, Jerub-Baal’s youngest son, escaped, 7  because he hid.
