Judges 4:14

Context
4:14 Deborah said to Barak, “Spring into action,¹ for this is the day the Lord is handing Sisera over to you!² Has the Lord not taken the lead?”³ Barak quickly went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.

Judges 8:24

Context
8:24 Gideon continued,⁴ “I would like to make one request. Each of you give me an earring from the plunder you have taken.”⁵ (The Midianites⁶ had gold earrings because they were Ishmaelites.)

¹tn Heb “Arise!”

²tn The verb form (a Hebrew perfect, indicating completed action from the standpoint of the speaker) emphasizes the certainty of the event. Though it had not yet taken place, the Lord speaks of it as a “done deal.”

³tn Heb “Has the Lord not gone out before you?”

⁴tn Heb “said to them.”

⁵tn Heb “Give to me, each one, an earring from his plunder.”

⁶tn Heb “they”; the referent (the Midianites) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
