3:25 They waited so long they were embarrassed, but he still did not open the doors of the upper room. Finally they took the key and opened the doors. 1  Right before their eyes was their master, sprawled out dead on the floor! 2

7:4 The Lord spoke to Gideon again, “There are still too many men. 3  Bring them down to the water and I will thin the ranks some more. 4  When I say, ‘This one should go with you,’ pick him to go; 5  when I say, 6  ‘This one should not go with you,’ do not take him.” 7
