1:34 The Amorites forced the people of Dan to live in the hill country. They did not allow them to live in 1  the coastal plain.

21:18 But we can’t allow our daughters to marry them, 3  for the Israelites took an oath, saying, ‘Whoever gives a woman to a Benjaminite will be destroyed!’ 4
