[Isa 60:4] Together, Lord, We Come To Thee
Together, Lord, we come to Thee,
And in Thy presence bow the head;
A band of hard-pressed folk are we,
Who find life’s pathway rough to tread.We bring our week of life to Thee,
All soiled, and worn, and marred with sin;
Thine eyes of holy love can see
Each tempted life without, within.We bring our bitterness of heart,
Our hate and want of charity;
We fain would choose the better part,
And learn to love, dear Lord, like Thee.We bring our care for daily bread,
The fear that turns the heart to stone;
We cry to Thee; lift up our head
And show us we are not alone.We bring the faith that over all
Though faint and feeble, flickers still;
Increase it, Lord, that at Thy call
We may our daily task fulfill.Lord, make us pure; enrich our life
With heavenly love for evermore;
Give us Thy strength to face the strife,

[Isa 60:13] Beautiful Christmas
O’er the hills and adown the snowy dells,
As the echoes ring of the Christmas bells,
Angel songs in our hearts resound again,
Singing peace on earth and good will to men!Refrain
Bring pine and fir tree, weave the garlands bright,
Gladden the temple of the King tonight!
Christmas is here! Fill it with cheer;
Make it glorious with joy and light.Bring good will to the suffering and sad;
Speak the tender word that shall make them glad;

[Isa 60:15] O Zion, When Thy Savior Came
O Zion, when thy Savior came
In grace and love to thee,
No beauty in thy royal Lord
Thy faithless eye could see.Yet, onward in His path of grace,
The holy Sufferer went,
To feel, at last, that love on thee
Had all in vain been spent.Yet not in vain; o’er Israel’s land
The glory yet will shine;
And He, thy once rejected King,
Messiah, shall be thine.When thou, beneath the peaceful reign

Lift up the Gates of Praise,

Hear what God the Lord hath spoken,
“O my people, faint and few,
Comfortless, afflicted, broken,
Fair abodes I build for you:
Themes of heartfelt tribulation
Shall no more perplex your ways;
You shall name your walls, Salvation,
And your gates shall all be praise.“There, like streams that feed the garden,
Pleasures, without end, shall flow,
For the Lord, your faith rewarding,
All His bounty shall bestow;
Still in undisturbed possession
Peace and righteousness shall reign;
Never shall you feel oppression,

Eternal Light! eternal Light!
How pure the soul must be
When, placed within Thy searching sight,
It shrinks not, but with calm delight
Can live, and look on Thee!The spirits that surround Thy throne
May bear the burning bliss;
But that is surely theirs alone,
Since they have never, never known
A fallen world like this.O how shall I, whose native sphere
Is dark, whose mind is dim,
Before the Ineffable appear,
And on my naked spirit bear
That uncreated beam?There is a way for man to rise
To that sublime abode:
An offering and a sacrifice,
A Holy Spirit’s energies,

When, beneath Messiah’s sway,
Every nation, every clime,
Shall the Gospel call obey.
Mightiest kings His power shall own,
Heathen tribes His Name adore;
Satan and his host o’erthrown,
Bound in chains, shall hurt no more.As when soft and gentle showers
Fall upon the thirsty plain,

Clothe the wilderness again;
