Isaiah 59:19

Context

59:19 In the west, people respect 1  the Lord’s reputation; 2

in the east they recognize his splendor. 3

For he comes like a rushing 4  stream

driven on by wind sent from the Lord. 5

Isaiah 63:14

63:14 Like an animal that goes down into a valley to graze, 6

so the Spirit of the Lord granted them rest.

In this way 7  you guided your people,

gaining for yourself an honored reputation. 8
