  Great Former of this various frame, Our souls adore Thine awful Name; And bow and tremble while they praise The Ancient of eternal days. Thou, Lord, with unsurprised survey, Saw’st nature rising yesterday; And, as tomorrow, shall Thine eye See earth and stars in ruin lie. Beyond an angel’s vision bright, Thou dwell’st in self existent light; Which shines, with undiminished ray, While suns and worlds in smoke decay. Our days a transient period run, And change with every circling sun; And, in the firmest state we boast, A moth can crush us into dust. But let the creatures fall around; Let death consign us to the ground; Let the last general flame arise, And melt the arches of the skies: Calm as the summer’s ocean, we Can all the wreck of nature see, While grace secures us an abode, Unshaken as the throne of God.

  God of eternity, Savior and King, Help us to honor Thee, help while we sing; Now may the clouds of night break into splendor bright, Jesus, our life and light, our Lord and King! God of eternity, Ancient of Days, Glorious in majesty, Author of Praise; Hear Thou our earnest call, while at Thy feet we fall, Jesus, our all in all, our Lord and King! God of eternity, Ruler divine, Strength of the mighty hills, all power is Thine; Boundless Thy reign shall be, wondrous Thy victory, Earth shall be filled with Thee, our Lord and King! God of eternity, love is Thy Name, God of the earth and sea, Thee we proclaim; Love, through Thine only Son, Thy work of grace hath done; O blessèd Three in One, our Lord and King!

  Where will you spend eternity? This question comes to you and me! Tell me, what shall your answer be? Where will you spend eternity? Eternity! eternity! Where will you spend eternity? Many are choosing Christ today, Turning from all their sins away; Heav’n shall their happy portion be; Where will you spend eternity? Eternity! eternity! Where will you spend eternity? Leaving the straight and narrow way, Going the downward road today, Sad will their final ending be, Lost thro’ a long eternity! Eternity! eternity! Lost thro’ a long eternity! Repent, believe, this very hour, Trust in the Savior’s grace and power, Then will your joyous answer be, Saved thro’ a long eternity! Eternity! eternity! Saved thro’ a long eternity!
