[Isa 29:19] Rejoice And Be Glad!
Rejoice and be glad!
The Redeemer has come!
Go look on His cradle,
His cross, and His tomb.Refrain
Sound His praises, tell the story,
Of Him Who was slain;
Sound His praises, tell with gladness,
He liveth again.Rejoice and be glad!
It is sunshine at last!
The clouds have departed,
The shadows are past.Refrain
Rejoice and be glad!
For the blood hath been shed;
Redemption is finished,
The price has been paid.Refrain
Rejoice and be glad!
Now the pardon is free!
The Just for the unjust
Has died on the tree.Refrain
Rejoice and be glad!
For the Lamb that was slain
O’er death is triumphant,
And liveth again.Refrain
Rejoice and be glad!
For our King is on high,
He pleadeth for us on
His throne in the sky.Refrain
Rejoice and be glad!
For He cometh again;
He cometh to glory,
The Lamb that was slain.Sound His praises, tell the story,
Of Him Who was slain;
Sound His praises, tell with gladness,
He cometh again.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 30:15] O God Of Love, Grant Us Your Peace
O God of love, grant us Your peace,
Within each restless mind.
May all our inner turmoil cease,
God show us how to find
Your quiet rest, Your still, small voice,
Your light upon life’s way,
To walk with you our humble choice,
God give us grace to pray.O God of life, grant us Your peace,
Both where we work and live.
Our ties of fellowship increase,
God, teach us how to give
A helping hand, a listening ear,
A message we may share,
So day by day and year by year,
God give us grace to care!O God of hope, grant us Your peace,
Though all the earth choose war.
May global tensions now decrease,
God, lead us to adore
The way of Christ, and like our Lord,
Be merciful and just,
Surrounded by Your Living Word,
God give us grace to trust!O God of all, grant us Your peace,
We share one human bond,
And so when others seek release,
God, help us to respond
To heal the sick, to seek the lost,
To set the captive free,
To serve and never count the cost;
May we live peacefully!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 30:15] I Bring My Sins To Thee
I bring my sins to Thee,
The sins I cannot count,
That all may cleansèd be
In Thy once opened Fount;
I bring them, Savior, all to Thee;
The burden is too great for me,
The burden is too great for me.I bring my grief to Thee,
The grief I cannot tell;
No words shall needed be,
Thou knowest all so well;
I bring the sorrow laid on me,
O suffering Savior, all to Thee,
O suffering Savior, all to Thee.My joys to Thee I bring,
The joys Thy love has given,
That each may be a wing
To lift me nearer Heaven;
I bring them, Savior, all to Thee,
Who hast procured them all for me,
Who hast procured them all for me.My life I bring to Thee,
I would not be my own;
O Savior, let me be
Thine ever, Thine alone;
My heart, my life, my all I bring
To Thee, my Savior and my King,
To Thee, my Savior and my King.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 30:19] How Far From Home?
How far from home? I asked, as on
I bent my steps—the watchman spake:
“The long, dark night is almost gone,
The morning soon will break.
Then weep no more, but speed thy flight,
With Hope’s bright star thy guiding ray,
Till thou shalt reach the realms of light,
In everlasting day.”I asked the warrior on the field;
This was his soul inspiring song:
“With courage bold, the sword I’ll wield,
The battle is not long.
Then weep no more, but well endure
The conflict, till thy work is done;
For this we know, the prize is sure,
When victory is won.”I asked again; earth, sea and sun
Seemed, with one voice, to make reply:
“Time’s wasting sands are nearly run,
Eternity is nigh.
Then weep no more—with warning tones,
Portentous sights are thickening round,
The whole creation, waiting, groans,
To hear the trumpet sound.”Not far from home! O blessèd thought!
The traveler’s lonely heart to cheer;
Which oft a healing balm has brought,
And dried the mourner’s tear.
Then weep no more, since we shall meet
Where weary footsteps never roam—
Our trials past, our joys complete,
Safe in our Father’s home.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 30:29] Song Of Heaven And Homeland, A
Sometimes I hear strange music,
Like none e’er heard before,
Come floating softly earthward
As thro’ Heav’n’s open door:
It seems like angel voices,
In strains of joy and love,
That swell the mighty chorus
Around the throne above.Refrain
O sweet, celestial music,
Heard from a land afar—
The song of Heav’n and Homeland,
Thro’ doors God leaves ajar!Now soft, and low, and restful,
It floods my soul with peace,
As if God’s benediction
Bade all earth’s troubles cease.
Then, grander than the voices
Of wind, and wave, and sea—
It fills the dome of Heaven
With glorious harmony.Refrain
This music haunts me ever,
Like something heard in dreams—
It seems to catch the cadence
Of heav’nly winds and streams.
My heart is filled with rapture,
To think, some day to come,
I’ll sing it with the angels—
The song of Heav’n and home.Refrain

[Isa 32:1] Eternal Father, Thou Hast Said
Eternal Father, Thou hast said
That Christ all glory shall obtain;
That He Who once a suff’rer bled
Shall o’er the world a conqu’ror reign.We wait Thy triumph, Savior King,
Long ages have prepared Thy way;
Now all abroad Thy banner fling,
Set time’s great battle in array.Thy hosts are mustered to the field;
“The Cross! the Cross!” the battle call;
The old grim towers of darkness yield,
And soon shall totter to their fall.On mountain tops the watch fires glow,
Where scattered wide the watchmen stand;
Voice echoes voice, and onward flow
The joyous shouts from land to land.Oh, fill the Church with faith and power!
Bid her long nights of weeping cease;
To groaning nations haste the hour
Of life and freedom, light and peace.Come, Spirit, make Thy wonders known,
Fulfill the Father’s high decree;
Then earth, the might of hell o’er thrown,
Shall keep her last great jubilee.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 32:1] Holy Spirit, From On High
Holy Spirit, from on high,
Bend o’er us with pitying eye;
Now refresh the drooping heart;
Bid the power of sin depart.Light up every dark recess
Of our heart’s ungodliness;
Show us every devious way
Where our steps have gone astray.Teach us, with repentant grief,
Humbly to implore relief;
Then the Savior’s blood reveal,
And our broken spirits heal.May we daily grow in grace,
And with patience run the race,
Trained in wisdom, led by love,
Till we reach our home above.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 32:2] Shadow Of The Rock, The
Lead to the shadow of the Rock of Refuge
My weary feet;
Give me the water from the life-stream flowing
Clear, pure and sweet.Refrain
There from the billows and the tempest hiding,
Under the shelter of Thy love abiding,
Safe in the shadow of the “Rock of Ages,”
Joy shall be mine!Lead to the shadow of the Rock Eternal
My heart oppressed;
There in the secret of Thy holy presence,
Calm shall I rest.Refrain
Lead to the shadow of the Rock of Ages;
Oh, keep Thou me
Safe from the arrows of the world’s temptations,
Close, close to Thee!Refrain

[Isa 32:2] Sheltering Rock, The
There is a Rock in a weary land,
Its shadow falls on the burning sand,
Inviting pilgrims as they pass,
To seek a shade in the wilderness.
Then why will ye die?
O why will ye die?
When the sheltering Rock is so near by,
O why will ye die?There is a Well in a desert plain,
Its waters call with entreating strain,
“Ho, every thirsting, sin sick soul,
Come, freely drink, and thou shalt be whole.”
Then why will ye die?
O why will ye die?
When the living Well is so near by,
O why will ye die?A great fold stands with its portals wide,
The sheep astray on the mountain side;
The Shepherd climbs o’er mountains steep;
He’s searching now for His wandering sheep.
Then why will ye die?
O why will ye die?
When the Shepherd’s fold is so near by,
O why will ye die?There is a cross where the Savior died;
His blood flowed out in a crimson tide,
A sacrifice for sins of men,
And free to all who will enter in.
Then why will ye die?
O why will ye die?
When the crimson cross is so near by,
O why will ye die?Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Isa 32:18] Under The Shadow Of The Cross
I have trusted in a Savior that can save me,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross;
When I trusted, oh, the bliss and joy it gave me,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross.Refrain
Under the shadow of the cross I am resting,
Under the shadow of the cross I am resting,
Under the shadow of the cross I am resting,
And securely Jesus lets me there abide.There has been within my soul a new creation,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross;
Blessèd thought, to feel the full and free salvation,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross.Refrain
Oh, I love to tell the sweet and wondrous story,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross;
Of salvation through a Savior rich in glory,
I am resting under the shadow of the cross.Refrain
