Isaiah 23:13

Context

23:13 Look at the land of the Chaldeans,

these people who have lost their identity! 1 

The Assyrians have made it a home for wild animals.

They erected their siege towers, 2 

demolished 3  its fortresses,

and turned it into a heap of ruins. 4

Context

33:18 Your mind will recall the terror you experienced, 5 

and you will ask yourselves, 6  “Where is the scribe?

Where is the one who weighs the money?

Where is the one who counts the towers?” 7
