Isaiah 20:5

Context
20:5 Those who put their hope in Cush and took pride in Egypt will be afraid and embarrassed.¹

Isaiah 62:7

62:7 Don’t allow him to rest until he reestablishes Jerusalem,²

until he makes Jerusalem the pride³ of the earth.

¹tn Heb “and they will be afraid and embarrassed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their beauty.”

²tn “Jerusalem” is supplied in the translation for stylistic reasons; note the following line.

³tn Heb “[the object of] praise.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
