Isaiah 17:14

Context

17:14 In the evening there is sudden terror; 1 

by morning they vanish. 2 

This is the fate of those who try to plunder us,

the destiny of those who try to loot us! 3 

Isaiah 28:19

Context

28:19 Whenever it sweeps by, it will overtake you;

indeed, 4  every morning it will sweep by,

it will come through during the day and the night.” 5 

When this announcement is understood,

it will cause nothing but terror.

Isaiah 33:18

Context

33:18 Your mind will recall the terror you experienced, 6 

and you will ask yourselves, 7  “Where is the scribe?

Where is the one who weighs the money?

Where is the one who counts the towers?” 8
