Hebrews 3:17

3:17 And against whom was God 1  provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness? 2

11:19 and he reasoned 7  that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense 8  he received him back from there.

Hebrews 11:35

11:35 and women received back their dead raised to life. 9  But others were tortured, not accepting release, to obtain resurrection to a better life. 10
