Genesis 1:25

Context
1:25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the cattle according to their kinds, and all the creatures that creep along the ground according to their kinds. God saw that it was good.

Genesis 6:20

Context
6:20 Of the birds after their kinds, and of the cattle after their kinds, and of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you so you can keep them alive. 1 

Genesis 24:35

Context
24:35 “The Lord has richly blessed my master and he has become very wealthy. 2  The Lord 3  has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.

1 tn Heb “to keep alive.”

2 tn Heb “great.” In this context the statement refers primarily to Abraham’s material wealth, although reputation and influence are not excluded.

3 tn Heb “and he.” The referent (the Lord) has been specified in the translation for clarity.
