Ezra 4:15

Context
4:15 so that he may initiate a search of the records¹ of his predecessors² and discover in those records³ that this city is rebellious⁴ and injurious to both kings and provinces, producing internal revolts⁵ from long ago.⁶ It is for this very reason that this city was destroyed.

Ezra 4:19

Context
4:19 So I gave orders,⁷ and it was determined⁸ that this city from long ago has been engaging in insurrection against kings. It has continually engaged in⁹ rebellion and revolt.

¹tn Aram “the book of the minutes.”

²tn Aram “of your fathers.”

³tn Aram “discover…and learn.” For stylistic reasons this has been translated as a single concept.

⁴tn Aram “is a rebellious city.”

⁵tn Aram “revolts they are making in its midst.”

⁶tn Aram “from olden days.” So also in v. 19.

⁷tn Aram “from me was placed a decree.”

⁸tn Aram “and they searched and found.”

⁹tn Aram “are being done.”

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
