Ezekiel 8:6

Ezekiel 23:24
Context23:24 They will attack 5 you with weapons, 6 chariots, wagons, and with a huge army; 7 they will array themselves against you on every side with large shields, small shields, and helmets. I will assign them the task of judgment; 8 they will punish you according to their laws.
1 tn The words “they will realize” are not in the Hebrew text; they are added here for stylistic reasons since this clause assumes the previous verb “to remember” or “to take into account.”
2 tn Heb “how I was broken by their adulterous heart.” The image of God being “broken” is startling, but perfectly natural within the metaphorical framework of God as offended husband.
