Ezekiel 4:9

4:9 “As for you, take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt,¹ put them in a single container, and make food² from them for yourself. For the same number of days that you lie on your side – 390 days³ – you will eat it.

Ezekiel 12:19

Context
12:19 Then say to the people of the land, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says about the inhabitants of Jerusalem and of the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in fright, for their land will be stripped bare of all it contains because of the violence of all who live in it.

Ezekiel 39:17

Context

39:17 “As for you, son of man, this is what the sovereign Lord says: Tell every kind of bird and every wild beast: ‘Assemble and come! Gather from all around to my slaughter⁴ which I am going to make for you, a great slaughter on the mountains of Israel! You will eat flesh and drink blood.

Ezekiel 42:13

Context

42:13 Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers which face the courtyard are holy chambers where the priests⁵ who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will place the most holy offerings – the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, because the place is holy.

¹sn Wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt. All these foods were common in Mesopotamia where Ezekiel was exiled.

²tn Heb “bread.”

⁵sn The priests are from the Zadokite family (Ezek 40:6; 44:15).
